Tagline line up

Hi. Hello. Quick life update... season 9 of Beverly Hills hit the scene two short weeks ago and the RHONY premiere is so close I can taste it. Obviously it is getting hard out here in Mississippi to find time to prepare for my midterms when I have such important work to tend to but of course, I am managing (sort of). I hate how busy I have been lately because I haven't been posting like literally at all. I want you to all know that there is not one night I lay my head down on my pillow that I am not FILLED with guilt that I haven't blessed you with my wisdom via blog post. In order to relieve me of my shame, here is my monthly check in to let you know that I am still indeed kicking.

The first thing we need to address are the taglines that have recently surfaced. How do we feel? Overjoyed? Disappointed? Now, I know they can't all be winners, that is repetitively made clear to me. Is it too much to ask that when these women pick up their apples and diamonds they say something iconic along with it? Time will tell.

*I don't mean to be so negative. Some I DIE for other might have actually physically killed me.

Let's go through them individually:

BEVERLY HILLS

Lisa Rinna // "In the game of life, it's Rinna take all."

I hope we all agree that Baby Shower Rinna is now in the Housewife Hall of Fame and because of that stellar performance, her tagline reigns true. After sitting on the sidelines last season I hear she comes back guns blazing this year. I am eager to see her run that mouth again I don't care who is on the other end of it.

Kyle Richards // "In Beverly Hills, the truth always has a way of rising to the top."

My girl Kyle has a way of spinning the drama away from herself ever since her lovely sister Kim left the scene, though this season I don't know if that is still the case. With Kim and Brandi making their way back into the mix I have a MASSIVE pit in my stomach. What could be the truth that is going to rise to the top? I will say that if this tagline is referencing the truth behind the Beverly Bitch/Vanderpump Dog scandal between Dorit and LVP I will be majorly disappointed. I know this season is supposed to be the best one in a while, but vintage BH is so good I don't know if it will compare.

Lisa Vanderpump // "You can stab me in the back, but whilst you're there, kiss my ass."

Lisa loves to deflect with humor and that is made apparent in this tagline. CONFESSION: It is one of my favorites this season BUT it resembles Carole Radziwill's tagline from Season 6 of RHONY: "If you are going to talk about me behind my back, at least check out my great ass." LVP is getting on my nerves on VPR so it is hard to separate the two. Let's just say I would not be upset if she didn't return to BH next season...

Erika Jayne // "Most people talk about their fantasies, I'm living mine."

This woman I can't with her. I am obsessed with the lifestyle, the glam and the maturity. I really love to watch Erika but I just want her to open up a little more this season so we can get to know the real her. She needs to stop identifying herself as "cold" and show us some raw emotions or I am going to become uninterested very quickly. So yes, I get it, your life is perfect. You are living the dream, but let's be real not everything is perfect and I want to hear about it.

Denise Richards // "My problem with the tabloids? My real life is so much juicer."

Hello newbie. I do not have much to say about you other than keep up the good work and your head up. Executive Producer Alex Baskin said it best "We spend a housewives first season getting them to be themselves and the rest of their career trying to make them go back to their first season attitude." Think of it like this: Will you ever love Camille as much as you did her first season? Sure it was a love-to-hate relationship but it was pure and real. Denise just stay real pls. Keep it juicy ;)

Dorit Kemsley // "In business and in life I wear many hats... and hairstyles."

Dorit has a problem with being herself. The fake accent, the elaborate hair styles and outfits only coming AFTER Erika Jayne did it first ... and finally the flaunting of her money (this was seasons ago but) I can't get over the rose gold Bentley. The first thing I thought when she said she got robbed was, "Oh is that how you are going to excuse your lack of glitz and glam this season?"

Teddi Mellencamp // "I'm not afraid of hard work but I will never do your dirty work."

Teddi YAS my queen, my favorite, my golden gal. I am obsessed with this woman. She is so authentic and just ready to roll with it. She is always on podcasts talking about how her accountability business has blown up "out of no where", we all know it is because she has promoted it on housewives but I am just so happy for her. Her family is adorable and her attitude is top notch. I hope she doesn't let the season 2 scaries eat her alive.

NEW YORK

Dorinda Medley // "If you've got a problem with me, it's your problem."

I think this is talking about Bethenny and the girl's issue with her excessive drinking last year and hopefully some upcoming fights this season. Dorinda is an essential part of this franchise and I am confident she will deliver this season. Can March 6th come faster PLEASE.

Bethenny Frankel // "When life gives me limes, I make margaritas."

Staying true to herself, whoring out her brands via housewives. Can you blame her? I love me some Bethenny but her taglines just never hit the spot. I like a tagline that gives me some insight into the upcoming season. All this tells me is Skinny Girl is still in business.

Sonja Morgan // "People call me over-the-top, but lately I prefer being a bottom."

The reason New York is so entertaining is because of the women. In the beginning seasons, most of them were happily married just trying to climb the social ladder in NYC. Now they are widowed/divorced empty-nesters going through midlife crisis. The sky is the limit and Sonja never disappoints. I love this tagline, thanks S.

Ramona Singer // "The only thing I settle for is more."

Ramona likes to stay aloof. Doesn't make me love her any less.

Luann de Lesseps // "I plead guilty to being fabulous."

What's more Luann than holding on to the past and using it for everything it's worth? I never want her time in jail to die out of my memory and the Countess is going to make sure it never does. I hope to one day have an ounce of the self-confidence Luann possesses. Her entire self worth lies in the success of her Cabarete show and can you blame her with the past 10 years she has had?

Tinsley Mortimer // "Game, set, now I need a match."

We get it you are single-and-ready-to-mingle. Tinsley is more of a place holder in my mind, she occupies very little of my thoughts. I am glad she is experimenting with new hair styles though, adds some dynamic to her character.
