I was almost brought to tears with the red carpet this year at the Oscars. Pink is, and forever will be my very favorite color and the fact the rest of the world is hopping on the bandwagon warms my heart. Aside from the pink overload, there were lots of show-stopping pastel gowns making their way down the carpet as well.
Let's start with the pink of it all:

Angela Bassett //

Gemma Chan // Valentino I was already obsessed with Astrid's fashion in Crazy Rich Asians and then Gemma struts down the carpet in this spectacular gown. Pink is definitely her color.

Helen Mirren // Schiaparelli couture

Kacey Musgraves // Giambattista Valli
This country princess looks a whimsical dream of poofy pink perfection. I think I'm in love.

Kiki Layne // Versace

Laura Marano //
The colors in this gown are so satisfying to look at. Each one compliments the next with out over powering each other.

Linda Cardellini // Christian Siriano
I am obsessed with this pink pile of fluff.

Maya Rudolph //
She is literally wearing her grandmothers curtains.

Sarah Paulson //
What is going on here? Only good thing about this dress is the color.

Emilia Clark // Balmain
I love this glitter bomb. Pastel took the carpet by storm and this dress makes her look like a little fairy princess on her way to the ball.

Awkwafina // Dsquared2

Marie Kondo // Temperley London
I didn't mention this above but there was actually an abundant amount of black looks on the carpet, but I would still name pink the leading color because of its vibrance and uniqueness. We can see black on a carpet any day, pink only comes once in a blue moon.

Allison Janney // Pamella Roland
She looks like she is just happy to be there and because of that I can't even pay attention to the look. Her face is full of pure joy.

Amy Poehler//
I am never happy with what I see Amy in and this year is no exception....

Ashley Graham // Zac Posen
Simple, Chic, LOVE

Billy Porter // Christian Siriano
This is about as custom as they come. What a look.

Giuliana Rancic // Kelly NG
Out of all of Giuliana's looks this red carpet season this one has to be my favorite. The headband adds a sense of innocence to the dark angel vibez this dress is giving off.

Lady Gaga // Alexander McQueen
I am not a fan of the weird love handles added on to this dress but she wouldn't be Lady Gaga without a little somethin' somethin' to catch us off guard.

Serena Williams //

Tessa Thompson // Chanel
She literally looks like she is wearing a lamp shade.

Mellisa McCarthy // Brandon Maxwell
Ew

Kelly Ripa // Christian Siriano
Kelly Ripa wins best dressed in my book. Where can I get one of these?

Jennifer Lopez // Tom Ford
Jennifer Lopez continues to blow me away. I pray every night that I will still look this good in my 40s.

Michelle Yeoh // Elie Saab

Regina King // Oscar de la Renta
UGH I die for this hair style.
Lets get back to the pop of color because this isn't the Golden Globes circa 2018.

Constance Wu // Versace
This dress makes me think of the darling Belle. Constance Wu looks so elegant in this bright Versace tule gown.

Glenn Close // Carolina Herrera This is about the 1000th cape I have seen tonight and I can't say that I am a fan. It is just too much gold especially matched with the gold clutch. It's a no from me.

Danai Guria // Brock Collection
I don't hate this. I actually really like this dress. Danai has the perfect décolletage for this stunning gold gown from the Brock Collection. Her waist looks so tiny though I would have paired it with a simple top knot.

Rachel Weisz // Givenchy couture
The top of this is ...interesting... to say the least BUT unpopular opinion I kinda dig it.

Jennifer Hudson // Elie Saab

Marina de Tarvira // J. Mendel
She looks like a petite little Barbie doll.

Danielle MacDonald // Christian Siriano

Tina Fey // Vera Wang This is beautiful, royal and absolutely basic AF could have been worn today or 10 years ago. Leave it to Tina Fey to play it safe.
