Luckily I got to enjoy the premiere of Vanderpump Rules without the stress of finals over my head. I finished my only final last Monday morning and spent the rest of the day watching the 3 part reunion from season 6 so I would be fully prepared for what was to come in this upcoming season. The premiere last week was amazing, I forget how much I miss Vanderpump Rules until it returns.

Like most of America, I was happy for Brit when I found out that she and Jax got engaged last summer but I was still a little skeptical. It wasn't until after seeing the whole thing play out in the premiere that all my hesitations towards the marriage went out the window (for the most part). Jax has been through hell and back in the past years as a result of his own decisions but it is still comforting to watch him grow up now that he is almost 40. I honestly did not think he would ever be able to make the change and actually treat a woman with respect. I pray that this change of heart lasts because if he slips up, he is out of second chances and Brit is going to leave him.

Stassi recently told a story about her and Jax's relationship on Straight up with Stassi, pre-Vanderpump Rules and it is AMAZING how much it took for this man to finally make a change in his life. A few years ago, when Stassi and Jax were in the beginning stages of their relationship Jax went on a "modeling" trip to Chicago. While he was there, he decided it would be a great idea to completely ignore Stassi and all of her calls so in true Stassi fashion she hacked into his Instagram. She wanted to see if he had been active in order to determine if he was intentionally ignoring her or just wasn't using his phone. While looking through his account, she found that he had been messaging a girl that his only connection to was a mutual Instagram follow. Saying things like "I love you, baby," and "I can't wait until we can be together baby." He was just blatantly cheating on Stassi with this random. Once she told Kristen and Katie, they brought her to Tom and Kristen's apartment and the witches of WeHo attempted to cure her with the only med they know how to use, lots and lots of shots. Stassi was a few shots deep when she called Jax, and told him that the only way he could make this up to her was if he bought a plane ticket back to LA, picked her up, and flew back with her to Chicago. Letting her spend the rest of his "work trip" with him. I don't know why she didn't just break up with him after that, but if she would have then we wouldn't have the blessing that is Vanderpump Rules. This mistake was a blessing in disguise. Once they got to Chicago, it was a constant fight until one night when they were walking home from dinner he took the liberty to apologize and hug it out. In the process of him hugging her, he took the hotel key out of her hand and made a run for it. She chased him down and ended up grabbing his head and slamming his face into her knee breaking his nose and covering herself in his blood. She later found him sitting in the hotel lobby working on his laptop as if nothing had happened. Even after this, they went on to date for a while until the show started in January 2017. Jax, has a past filled with horrific relationship stories all of his making and I am just hoping that we have witnessed the last of it now that he is engaged.

All the relationships developing throughout the various seasons carry the show but in my opinion, the newest one wins the title of the "Best Couple". Stassi brought me to TEARS when she was talking about her and Beau's relationship. She too has come so far since season one. I listened to her podcast religiously over the summer and Beau was the main guest so I feel like I already know him pretty well. Even though he has only had two scenes so far, I have a feeling they are going to bring a lot to the show this season. He treats her how a man should treat a woman and from what I can tell they are a perfect personality match.

I am still confused as to why Scheana is on the show. It is obvious that she will always be an outsider and it is painful to witness the sheer embarrassment she brings herself when the camera is on her. Luckily for her, it won't take much time to watch her scenes but I have a feeling she is going to make her presence known in remaining episodes. It pains me to admit but after last night I have made my final decision. If I had to choose I would pick Scheana over James. I almost didn't finish the Pride episode last night because James was driving me absolutely insane. I love the drama but he brings nothing new to the table. The group is maturing, they are growing up I need more sophisticated drama other than him continuing to be accused of cheating on Raquel. If this is what it is going to be like making Raquel a bigger personality I am going to have to vote against her presence on the show. It is just the same drama over and over and over again and I am just sick of it. His ego needs to be knocked down a few notches before I can tolerate him. #TEAMLALA Right now I just group Raquel in with James because she hasn't done anything to make me think she is any different than him. If James doesn't chill tf out I am going to lose it. Kristen isn't obsessed with you, no one is obsessed with you James. Calm down and GO HOME.

Alright everyone See You Next Tuesday

X, Annie

We are pretty deep into season 8 of Vanderpump Rules and so far it has been pretty good. Of course, I am in love with Stassi and Beau's...
