Father's day

Ever since I got an email address my dad has been sending me daily "quotes of the day."

Many of the quotes have resonated with me.

My dad is a huge inspiration, I know we aren't doing the exact same things with our lives, but what I admire about my dad is how hard he works. It is why I work so hard at everything I do.

I have watched him ever since I was little put everything he has into his career path.

His endless sacrifices, like all of the late nights at the office when he didn't get to tuck me into bed and kiss me goodnight or all of the busy work weeks when he couldn't take off to come and see me for Parents Weekend made an impression on me.

Those moments taught me that you can't have it all, but your hard work and sacrifice pays off.

Getting to go to the NYSE and see my dad with his coworkers, so proud while they rung the bell inspired me to never give up.

It wasn't magic that brought him that success. My dad is the hardest working person I have ever met.

I am forever thankful that my Dad supports me in everything I do by encouraging me to take advantage of every opportunity placed in my path. I wouldn't be in Nashville right now if it wasn't for my Dad securing a future for me and my family to make sure that we would be able to pursue our dreams.
