Summer House is over...
My final opinion is I will definitely be tuning into next season, but I wish that it wasn't on the same night as Vanderpump Rules, it adds unnecessary stress to my Monday nights. In the first season of any reality show the personalities are always over reacting so it is hard to gauge if you really like the show based on the people. The plot of this show is intriguing to me, it isn't limited which means that next season will hopefully be just as exciting as the first. I predict that this show will run for at least five seasons IF they play their cards right.
You can tell from my last post that Kyle was my favorite of the bunch, but this most recent episode gave me a different perspective on him. The whole summer he seemed like a caring guy, but he was clearly getting distracted by the excitement of being single. It wasn't until this episode I lost respect for him when I realized how awful he was actually treating his ex-girlfriend who he claimed to still be in love with. These people need to learn that when you love someone you aren't supposed to break up with them! Stay together and get through the rough times instead of quitting every time you have to put a little bit of work in.
Cristina is really starting to bother me to the point I don't know if I could handle watching her in even one more episode. She is not a Kristen Doute kind of annoying where I find it humorous, but Cristina genuinely makes me angry. I glad this season was only ten episodes because I don't think I could haven taken her for even one more second, which is really disappointing because she is an entertainment reporter and that is what I dream to be, so I was looking forward to following her.
The Wirkus Twins are the glue that hold this show together, they are HILARIOUS and the perfect example of east coast girls. If you haven't listened to the Watch What Crappens podcast you are missing out big time. Listening to them recap the show each week is almost more entertaining than the actual show, their imitation of Lauren Wirkus is spot on.
Summer House definitely has potential and I am excited to see where it goes, but until then...
See you next summer in Montauk!!!
XOXO
Annie
