Bachelor Was Spoiled :(

The past few weeks I haven't had time to watch the Bachelor because I was in the musical Oklahoma! at my school. After three LONG weeks of rehearsals, performances, and absolutely no sleep, I got my life back. Since I wasn't able to sit down and actually watch the show, I had to keep up with everything via Instagram and Twitter. I was reading articles of the recaps of what happened, watching Ashley I.'s Instagram live videos, and keeping up with tweets. I knew all the girls pretty well from tuning into the first 2 weeks, so luckily I was able to keep up enough until I was able to watch the show again. It definitely wasn't the ideal situation, but unfortunately reality TV doesn't come before homework and I didn't have enough time to do both. (Same reason I am so behind on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills).

After scrolling though Instagram on January 17th I got a notification that Ashley I. was live. I clicked on it to listen to her predictions and read the comments that were scrolling along the bottom of the screen. I was watching her live stream for only a minute or two before some random account commented “***** is the winner!”. My heart immediately stopped beating, I felt so betrayed. Did someone really just spoil Bachelor for me? I convinced myself that they were just being annoying, that wasn't actually the winner. I wanted to believe myself, but I knew deep down they were right. I prayed that they were just making it all up to mess with Bachelor Nation.

To the person who commented that and ruined Bachelor for me: Great joke! I believe you and I do not think that is a funny joke!!

A few minutes later the comments started flooding in, one after the other, repeating the same thing. I closed out of the video so fast. There was no more “convincing myself” that they were joking with me. Now I was certain they were telling the truth, and I wasn't pleased.

Moral of the story: I now know who wins this season of the Bachelor. I do not feel right blogging about Nick's journey with a bias opinion. I am terrified of accidentally spoiling the show for any part of Bachelor Nation that reads my blog. The worst part of it is that I don't find it as enjoyable to watch the show anymore. Once you know the winner, the magic isn't there and the show becomes boring. Even with someone as problematic as Corinne. I am very upset that it had to turn out this way, and I apologize to everyone who was excited to see my opinions on this season. DON’T WORRY! I will be back for Paradise this summer!! I hope no one has to go through what I have just experienced and I wish Nick the best of luck with his new woman.

. Before I sign off of this season I want to express my opinion on the season overall. I think Nick’s selection of women this season isn't as impressive as past Bachelors have had. The girls don't seem like they are anything special and majority of them seem to be there for fame instead of love. Another disappointing factor in this season is that I am very put off by the physical relationships that Nick has developed with all the girls, if I was one of them I would leave now. He clearly isn’t ready for a wife if he is acting like a freshman boy who has never had a girlfriend before when he is given 20 girls to date. I just do not think he is being respectful to the other girls, I understand that it is hard to be “respectful” in this situation but there is a line, and in my opinion Nick has crossed it.

XOXO
